Over the past 10 years, I have gained experience in teaching and curriculum development for students at various levels, from Kindergarten to graduate students. My experience includes working as an undergraduate teaching assistant, doing outreach at a non-profit organization, and serving as a graduate teaching assistant while pursuing my PhD. Graduate Teaching Assistant, Portland State University, Sept. 2015-June 2016 & Sept. 2017-July 2020

Lab courses: Independently taught lab courses, delivered course materials, facilitated lab activities, led student field trips, supervised student research projects, set up learning management system pages, graded assignments, assigned final grades for the lab

Lecture courses: Assisted with curriculum development, graded assignments, assisted with in class activities (e.g., R statistics worksheets in data analysis courses), held office hours

Duties: Developed programs, managed the field trip schedule, provided leadership to a team of 12 education presenters (e.g., scheduling, payroll, annual evaluations which included individual teaching observations)

Duties: Developed curriculum and taught K-12th grade outreach and field trip programs focused on various scientific topics (e.g., water cycle, marine and rainforest animal biology/ecology, fisheries, oceanography, etc.)
